These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Strand mobile application ("Strand," "the App," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Strand Fitness Limited ("Company"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use Strand. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. We use Supabase to manage authentication and account data.
Strand lets you log gym, run, and swim sessions, track nutrition, and view training insights, including AI-generated pattern detection and recovery recommendations available to Strand Pro subscribers. This content is provided for informational and motivational purposes only and is not medical advice. Strand is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or fitness guidance. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new training or nutrition program, particularly if you have an existing health condition. You use all training and nutrition features, including AI-generated insights, at your own risk.
Strand offers optional paid subscription tiers — Strand Plus and Strand Pro — that unlock additional features as described in the App. Key terms:
Strand includes a social feed where you can post training updates, photos, and interact with other users (including friends and leaderboard features). You are solely responsible for content you post. Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, infringing, or that discloses another person's private information without consent. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or misuse the App; (b) interfere with or disrupt the App's operation; (c) use the App to violate any law; (d) impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; (e) upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
The App, including its design, logo, and branding, is owned by Strand Fitness Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create (such as photos and posts), but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content within the App as necessary to operate the service.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time using the "Delete account" option in the App's Profile screen.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strand Fitness Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on training, nutrition, or recovery insights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the App or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
